I had been driving on bare black steel wheels for the last year or so.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I tried searching Japanese Yahoo Auctions listings for &#8220;sambar hubcap&#8221; or &#8220;\u30b5\u30f3\u30d0\u30fc \u30cf\u30d6\u30ad\u30e3\u30c3\u30d7&#8221; with no luck. Turns out that regular ol&#8217; USA eBay is the place to look. Some early 1990s Justy models had the same 12&#8243; steel wheels as the Sambars of the same years. Once I started searching for those, and found a design I liked, it only took a couple of weeks before I hit paydirt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" src=\"https:\/\/reeseallen.net\/sambar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/IMG_20210205_173907-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-239\" srcset=\"http:\/\/reeseallen.net\/sambar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/IMG_20210205_173907-1024x768.jpg 1024w, http:\/\/reeseallen.net\/sambar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/IMG_20210205_173907-300x225.jpg 300w, http:\/\/reeseallen.net\/sambar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/IMG_20210205_173907-768x576.jpg 768w, http:\/\/reeseallen.net\/sambar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/IMG_20210205_173907-1536x1152.jpg 1536w, http:\/\/reeseallen.net\/sambar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/IMG_20210205_173907-2048x1536.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>I had to buy three from one seller and the fourth from a different seller. The packages arrived within a day of each other and I was happy to find that the hubcaps did indeed all match perfectly. They&#8217;ve clearly got a lot of miles on them but are in fair condition. I paid a total of about $110 for the set.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" src=\"https:\/\/reeseallen.net\/sambar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/IMG_20210206_123219-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-240\" srcset=\"http:\/\/reeseallen.net\/sambar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/IMG_20210206_123219-1024x768.jpg 1024w, http:\/\/reeseallen.net\/sambar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/IMG_20210206_123219-300x225.jpg 300w, http:\/\/reeseallen.net\/sambar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/IMG_20210206_123219-768x576.jpg 768w, http:\/\/reeseallen.net\/sambar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/IMG_20210206_123219-1536x1152.jpg 1536w, http:\/\/reeseallen.net\/sambar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/IMG_20210206_123219-2048x1536.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>These hubcaps are a real pain to install and to remove, which is probably a good thing if you want to keep them attached to the vehicle while it&#8217;s in motion.
