I&#8217;ve since developed an alternate version. I like both versions, but if your partner is getting sick of eating the original recipe, try this one instead. It&#8217;s pretty great.<\/p>\n<p>Follow all the same instructions as the <a href=\"http:\/\/reeseallen.net\/wp\/?p=219\">original recipe<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Use these ingredients instead:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>1\/2 lb ground beef<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>1\/2 lb ground pork<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>1 egg<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>1 Tbsp minced garlic<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>1\/2 tsp onion powder<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 tsp garlic powder<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 tsp &#8220;Italian seasoning&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 tsp oregano<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 tsp red pepper flakes<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 tsp salt<\/li>\n<li>1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce<\/li>\n<li>1\/3 cup half-and-half<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 cup parmesan, shredded or grated<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 cup Italian-seasoned breadcrumbs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It has been almost 6 years since I posted my original meatball recipe.
